One of opening weekend’s most intriguing matchups features two teams entering the season with very different stories.

The Buckshots return after an impressive playoff run last year, finishing as league runner-up after falling to Stowe in the championship. With unfinished business, they’ll look to start their new campaign with a statement.

On the other side, there’s a brand-new team to deal with.

After both the Hogs and Chaos struggled with low roster numbers, the two teams have officially joined forces to form the Chogs. What started as a move out of necessity may have created one of the most dangerous rosters in the league.

Sunday night will give everyone their first look at whether the Chogs are as good on the ice as they look on paper.
